Celestial Lakes is an Ambient, Drone, and Experimental Music project founded in 2023.
Rooted in atmospheric guitar work, analog textures, and existential themes, Celestial Lakes crafts deeply immersive soundscapes that balance stillness with motion—meditative yet emotionally charged.
Drawing influence from artists like Lowercase Noises, Perry Frank, The Echelon Effect, Olan Mill,
andÓlafur Arnalds, the music often centers around guitar as the primary voice, processed through an evolving collection of boutique effects pedals to create ethereal, textural worlds. Synths, electric kalimba, and bass guitar occasionally appear but always with a minimalist approach that favors emotional resonance over complexity.
The debut EP, Shadows Cast From Hands Of Clocks (2024), introduced listeners to a sonic world where memory, decay, and time fold into one another. Tracks like Waves in the Frozen Echo—which also received a cinematic music video shot on a haunting South American river—explore the blurred edges of joy, melancholy, and meaning.
Celestial Lakes has begun building a presence through self-released music, artistic video content, and a direct-to-listener approach. Designed for deep thinkers, nature-lovers, students of stillness, and fans of introspective music.
With new releases on the horizon and a growing catalogue of experimental works, Celestial Lakes continues to push forward—slowly, deliberately—one note one echo at a time.
